THE KEVIN LEADY STORY!

For Kevin Leady, baseball has never just been a game — it’s been a lifelong passion. He began pitching at just five years old for his hometown team and later pitched for Eastwood and at BGSU.

Sixteen years ago, he began the next chapter of his baseball journey as the Eastwood Eagles varsity baseball coach.

This baseball card series honors Kevin and celebrates his lifelong love of the game.

Along with all of the baseball games Kevin has helped win over the years, he also inspired a real home run at the Shack. His go-to order is vanilla ice cream blended with fresh strawberries and cheesecake bites.

Kevin has recommended our little ice cream shack to countless family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, players, and just about everyone he meets. For several years, people stopped by and asking for “that thing Kevin likes.”

So at the beginning of the 2025 season, we officially put it on the menu and named it The Kevin Leady. That year alone, we sold over 800 Kevin Leadys!

For our 2026 season, we created the Kevin Leady Game to thank and honor Kevin while celebrating and chronicling his baseball career and lifelong love of the game.

We hope you enjoy our Kevin Leady Baseball Card Series Game as much as we enjoyed creating it with Kevin and his wife Kellie.

The next time you see Kevin, be sure to thank him for being such a great inspiration to our community and to the next generation growing up in our Eastwood community.

We wish Kevin and the Eastwood Eagles the best of luck during their 2026 baseball season and hope it’s a memorable and winning season.

Kevin, thank you for helping us create these cards and for being such an inspiration to our Shack and our Eastwood community.
